Chapter 23

Jackson’s POV

‘If the mere sight of its glow could already hypnotize a human, what more when one touches you?’ I mused to myself, remembering how I felt when the pendant first glowed after I threw it to the ground. I was only able to stop myself from getting lured into complete darkness because my wolf was growling in warning, telling me to just back off. But stumbling upon this, there must be a reason. Fate and the moon the goddess are telling me something. Everything that has happened ever since I saw Zayla has a meaning. This pendant, a baton of sorts, is now in my hands and it’s my turn to run for whatever lies ahead.
