Chapter 28. The Attack
The night weather wasn’t friendly. It was chilly and wet that a violent wind, swept the rain across the land. The thunder roared with a flash of forked lightning. The lightning and the thunder came close upon each other. The roaring of the thunder was so terrifying that everyone was locked inside their apartment except for Mary Brown.
“Oh my God!” she screamed, seeing the lightning hit an electric pole ahead of her.
She ran across the other side of the road, drenched in the rain as the thunder roared once more and the lightning flashed across the sky. This isn’t one of her best moments. She stayed a bit longer in the coffee shop to get herself acquainted with the topics of today at school.
Severally, she had put a call to Clinton but the reception was so bad that she couldn’t get hold of him after she called him to pick her up from the coffee shop.
As she ran across the other side of the street, she made her way to a barber’s shop to stay there until the rain
