Sapphire sighed to digest what Ryan said. She licked her lips and nodded once. “How do you plan to do it now?” she asked.

“I will start by divorcing Isa,” Ryan replied.

“You do know that you can just divorce her out of the blue. Everyone would ask questions.”

“It’s simple, I will say that I fell out of love with her,” he shrugged.

“Did you then?” Sapphire asked, not taking her eyes off of him in order to see his reaction. “You do know that there is a possibility Chris would take up any chance you provide to him. How are you going to cope seeing them together if they should get together.”

“It’s what should have been all along. I just prevented it for a short while.”

“Seven years isn’t a short while.”

“Come on Sapph, you know what I am saying. What is seven years compared to a lifetime?”
