Rhye’s thumbs fumbled over the ridiculously tiny phone in his hands the next day. In many years of this never-ending hunting of witches and demons, he still wasn’t used to the technology they used. It was the largest one on the market, and it was still too damn small. Spellcheck fixed the numerous errors where his large fingers pressed the wrong key, or worse, multiple keys, while he sent a quick text to Joseph, demanding an update on the search for the Fae.
With dawn on the horizon, it was his brother’s turn to tail Livia, but watching her taillights disappear sat like a lead weight in his stomach. He didn’t want her out of his sight.
