I locked the door and took off my clothes before turning on the shower. The hot water relaxed my exhausted body and calmed my senses. Using the shower gel felt like a luxury since becoming a rogue. As I washed my body, my mind wandered to my baby. I missed her so much and hoped that in the coming days, Charles would allow me to go see her.
