"He won't be back anytime soon, so whether you like it or not, it's just the two of us in the house," he declared.
"I know, but I hope you're easier to work with. You don't let me go out, and I really needed a day off, Henry. Why are you doing this to me?"
"Because you're already mine," he stated firmly.
"You're sick and pathetic if you think you can own a person," I said, but he just chuckled and continued eating as if nothing happened. What a fool! I no longer felt like shopping after we left the restaurant.
"If you're done eating, let's go," he said, and then he signaled the waiter for the bill. After paying, he held my wrist as we left the restaurant.
"Where are we going now?" I asked, trying to break free from his tight grip.
