Just like earlier, he drove like a maniac, and in no time at all, we were back on the plantation. He just told me to take a rest while he would check something on the plantation. Since I didn’t want to argue or anything, I just nodded my head in agreement.

I went upstairs and proceeded to my room to take a rest. Before lying in bed, I checked my phone if there were messages from Henry, and yes, I got several missed calls from him.
