Chapter 150. Who Should I Be Mad At?

Leah’s POV

I hugged myself as I made my way over to the entrance of the hospital. I heard the closing of the car door from behind me, telling me that Rafael was most likely following me now. 

My heart pounded in my chest but again, although I felt like crying and screaming at the top of my lungs, I just couldn’t. It was like my emotions had been caged.

Or it was like I was feeling so much at once that my body and nervous system was overwhelmed. I swallowed, making my way past a few nurses who were standing by the doorway.

They all stared at me but I didn’t care. 

“Leah!” I could hear Rafael calling me. 

But I kept moving until I reached the front desk. Another woman was talking to the receptionist so I had to wait, and that gave Rafael the chance to reach me.

“Leah, you need to calm down. I’m sorry. I really am, but it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault and you know it. You know it.” He was standing right next
