Chapter 96. Surprise...?

Leah’s POV

The morning came with the harsh ringing of the alarm clock. It was like it was screaming at me to get up. My eyes fluttered open and I groaned as I sat up. The sunlight entered the room and filled it up in a nice warm glow. 

I reached over to the alarm clock and turned it off. The noise was now gone, but as my mind settled into the state of being away, everything started to come back. The guilt, the anxiety, the heaviness on my chest, and so much more. 

It was like the list just kept adding up every time. And I was tired. Not physically at the moment, but you know what I mean. I was just tired of this game that I was in, one that I never signed up to play; one that I did not even know how to play. 

I dragged myself from the bed and proceeded to make it. When the room was clean and organized, which took only a few minutes, I made my way to the closet and decided to find something to wear before hitting the bathroom.&n
