Jake was trying to act like this was not affecting him, but for some reason I could see past that. I could see that he was worried. I could see that he was regretting what he had done back in the classroom. 

And that made me feel a bit bad. But it also made me curious, what was this guy’s backstory. I had been shoved into this life and so far, I knew Sasha’s backstory and Rafael’s. But I really did not know anything about Jake.

I just knew that he was hot and dated Sasha for a really long time. And from what she explained to me, I knew that he was kind of toxic. Also, that he could be a bit unloyal, considering what he had done with me back that night at the party.
