Old Man Heartfield sighed and turned to the Alpha Rogue King with a wan smile. 

Now that he had managed to stir Bryan away with the idea of hanging out with Ciara, they could finally talk. 

“Now that he's gone, I guess we adults can finally have a good chat. It's been a long time my friend,” Elliot said taking one of the seats at the dining table. 

Old Man Heartfield eyed him for a few minutes before joining him, taking a seat a bit further away from him putting a huge gap between them. 

“I'm offended you don't want to sit next to me but that's alright. Whatever makes you comfortable I guess.” 

“Let's cut the games Timothy, I came here for my granddaughter.” 

He shrugged. “I don't know why you're so worked up about her because as you can see, she's doing well and feeding well too. I'd never harm the woman I love, Elliot.”
