“Need anything from the store, honey?” I asked Sienna as she got out of the car.

“No I’m good, thanks Pops,” she said with a warm smile. “I’m just going to make sure Milo is doing his chores! The place will be spotless by the time you get back,” she winked before closing the car door.

As I pulled away from the curb, the rain began to fall and hit the window. Light at first, I increased my speed slightly to get to the store as quickly as I could.
