Chapter 102. The Baron's Gift

“What were you doing before I came in?” Wayne asked as he kissed Olive's neck gently in the kitchen. He decided to not think about how to tell her about the reason for the meeting yet. At least, until after dinner.

“Oh, I was feeling hungry. You know I skipped lunch. So I was just going to make myself a thick smoothie,” she answered and he released her.

“A thick smoothie,” he repeated and she chuckled then nodded.

“See, I already cut the fruits. I was going to blend them when you arrived. You have a smoothie blender here. I was so thrilled when I saw it,” she pointed towards the kitchen counter where she had arranged her fruits in a ceramic bowl. The milk was sitting in a glass cup already and so was the small smoothie blender from his Aunt.

“And how do you intend to make a thick smoothie?” he questioned as she took his hand to lead him to the counter.

“By using more fruits and less milk. It will be quite thick and more satisfying. Come on, let's cut more frui
