My head burst out of the water as I gasped for air. The unexpected throw to the water cause me off guard, as I flailed my hands around in order to gain some kind of balance. Waiting slid down my face, blocking my vision, and I blinked to clear it all away.

Once my vision was back to normal, my gaze landed on the dark king, who was still seated on his throne, gazing at me with a smile on his lips. I furrowed my eyebrows as confusion hit me. I didn’t understand why he had thrown me into the hot springs, neither could I comprehend why he looked pleased that I was in it.

I moved my hands and legs, as I swam to the edge in an attempt to get out of it. But the moment I got to the very edge, an invisible barrier, pushed me back into the water harshly. I was submerged into the way once again, but found it way back to the surface.
