Chapter 139. What Is Funny

Suzie POV

I stood, frozen as I looked around the foreign room I was in. The room was large, larger than any one I’ve ever laid eyes on. It has glass doors on both sides, and they were both unlocked. Sunlight streamed through the open door, given the room a warm glow.

The bed, a large queen sized bed sat at the middle, surrounded by intricate designs. The room was heavily decorated with paintings, and vases. There were even a few flower pots, kept on each side.

My eyes switched to the mirror on front of me and I gazed at my dishevelled and dirty state. My wounds had all fully recovered now, and so was my strength, but my hands were all cuffed up. My strength was not enough to break through the hand cuffs.

My eyes trailed the whole room once again, and confusion set in. What was I doing here? I knew the dark king had summoned for me, but his motives were unclear.

I was dragged here by some guards, and they told me to wait for the dark
