Chapter 142. To Kill the Dark King

Carl took off the hood from his head, and gazed at me, with a hint of joy in his eyes. I had no seen Carl in what felt like forever, and seeing that he was in good health, brought a smile to my lips. Seeing as Carl has betrayed the dark king and was working with us, I had expected the dark king to find out and kill him.

I let out a sigh of relief, knowing that he was still safe.

He walked forward, and shoved his hand down his pocket. Once he retrieved his hand from his pocket, a small, glass bottle was sitting in his palm. I frowned and looked up at him.

“What is that?”

Carl grinned and rose the small vial up in the air, shaking it around softly. The light green liquid in it slushed around, making me even more curious.

“This is the antidote to wolfsbane. I knew the reason why you have no strength in you, is because the dark king keeps putting wolfsbane in your food and water. I am sure he has also injected it directl
