Chapter 11. Doomsday

Sarah walked back and forth outside the basement while waiting for Alexis to return. She had said she was going to get something she forgot and run back quickly, but what was she looking for and how long was it supposed to take? Was she chickening out?

She was told to wait outside but should she just go in alone? She hesitated, staring at the small crack of the door where there was nothing but darkness.

If she was even scared to go in, then what was the point of doing this, anyway?
