An hour later, Katie and Sarah were so drunk that if someone slapped them across the face, they’d burst out laughing instead of retaliating.

And Damon Kalesto who’d only just walked through his door, was instantly met with a scene that made his eyes bloodshot red with anger. His temper already had a very short fuse and it was even worse when the first thing he saw was his mate on the floor, grabbing that woman’s cheeks with that silly grin across her face.

He took a deep breath and walked in, fists loosening at his sides. “Sarah.” He gritted out, grabbing her by the back of her dress and pulling her to her feet. He tried his best to control his anger but it was hard not to glare when he had given her rules yet she broke them.

“Oh, Damon! You’re home!” Sarah’s head snapped to him, swaying on her feet with that same grin. She lunged at him, arms tight around his torso.

“I thought coming home to the kitchen in flames was the worst that could happen. But I was wr
