Chapter 3
I Knew It
As she searches through the few yearbooks that she has kept of her high school years, she doesn’t see any pictures of Sam.
“What the hell? Where is he?” She cries out while throwing her hands up in the air and then puts the books away.
Relaxing in front of her computer, she goes through her social media accounts and starts to laugh. Sure enough, as clear as day, his picture sits right in front of her under friend suggestions.
“Sam Ross.” She says out loud to an empty room.
As she stares at his picture, she gets this eerie feeling that his eyes are piercing right into her soul. After she does some research, she finds out that several of his relatives are on her social media account. So, she does it. She clicks on ‘request’ and waits for his answer.
“Hopefully, he accepts and doesn’t deny it.” She mutters under her breath.
She so desperately wants to be able to message him and see if they can meet up again that she crosses her fingers.
Especially when all those memories start to flood back in, like when a dam breaks. One memory begs her to ask, “Why did he leave in 9th grade?” All she can remember is the fact that one day he just disappeared, never to return.
While waiting for him to respond, she finds it a bit nerve-wracking and decides to make a cup of coffee. After she gets a cup and sits back down, she begins to think it may be a mistake and tries to withdraw it. Of course, her computer freezes and then she is forced to find something else to occupy her mind.
No matter how hard she tries, she can’t concentrate and is simply not motivated to find something else to do. That is until she picks up her violin and starts playing sad songs. However, the familiar feel of the wood under her touch brings back old memories of when she was young, before the accident. Placing the violin down on the leather loveseat, she cradles her knees as she pulls them up to her chest.
For some reason, an image of Sam pops into her head, and how incredible it would feel if they made love. Closing her eyes, she imagines him there with her.
Touching her, kissing her, making her his, then another thought pops into her head.
“Oh, what she would do for a man who wanted her more than anything in the world.”
Sighing, she runs her fingers down over her breasts and pauses for a moment to squeeze the nipples between her thumbs and forefingers.
Instantly, they become puckered and sensitive to the touch. After all, she hasn’t given herself that luxury in quite a while.
When her hands travel down to the hem of her skirt, she bunches it up and pulls the cotton fabric up to her waist. Feeling the desire deep within her take over, she spreads her legs and then runs her fingertips across the skin of her inner thighs.
As she reaches the warmth of her swollen, soaked folds, she traces the line and then slips a finger in.
She throws her head back and rests it on the back of the couch as she relaxes into the cushions and begins to pant.
“I want you Sam.” She whispers breathlessly as she imagines him slipping his own fingers deep within her.
Working herself up, she moans and then slips a second finger in to thrust in and out. She begins to work, her hand like a piston, and thrusts them in and out quickly as she uses her other hand to rub her nub. Panting even harder now, she stops to swallow hard and then slides in a third finger. Finally, she feels full.
Slipping them in and out, she stops when a thought occurs to her suddenly. Withdrawing her fingers, she opens her eyes and stands up. Quickly rushing into the bathroom, she grabs her hairbrush and then returns to where she was sitting before.
“Now this is what I am talking about.” She murmurs under her breath as she takes the handle of it and positions it against her folds.
Feeling naughty, she thrusts it in hard and fast.
When she closes her eyes again, she revels in the dirty sounds of sex. After all, she already knows the sucking sound that the female body makes when you stick something in drives her wild. Smiling, she licks her lips and then begins to move them before she pinches her nub hard. The pain becomes a pleasure, and the moment she begins to thrust in and out again, she cries out.
It doesn’t take too long before she starts to feel the familiar sensation that tells her she is about to release.
Thrusting in and out several more times, she climaxes, and then it makes her body shake. The whole time, her insides clench around the handle hard as she keeps thrusting through it.
After resting there for a few minutes with her eyes closed, she slides the brush out and involuntarily shakes from the sensitiveness of it. Sitting there quietly, she thinks to herself, “If Sam only knew I did this, I wonder if he would have come over and gave me a hand.”
A week later, as she starts to feel as if he will never accept the request, she hears a ding on her phone. Right away, she pulls off the side of the road and looks at her phone with a sense of anticipation. When she sees who has messaged her, she perks right up and smiles.
So excited that she just can’t wait any longer, she types a quick message about meeting so they can talk. Adding on the end that she finally remembered where she had met him before. When she hits send, she secretly hopes that he will want to come over today and alleviate this throbbing between her legs. Ever since the day she thought about him and touched herself, she couldn’t stop thinking about how it would feel if they really did make love this time.
Relieved a few minutes later, when he messages again, she sighs at his response.
“Let me know where, when you talk to me in a few minutes. I am at The Diner. If you want to join me, I will stay, and we can talk.”
After she replies, “Ok,” she immediately turns around and drives back into town with a renewed sense of hope.
Finally, she makes her way to the back of the greasy spoon after getting caught up in slow traffic for miles. She sees him talking with the waiter, so she takes the time to look him over. After all, we all look at the covers of books, and if we like them, we read them.
She thinks to herself, “He is something I would love to read.
For a man in his 40’s, he is in excellent shape.
His muscles pop out of his shirt sleeves, and he looks as if he works outside a lot. As she steps closer, she notices his disheveled brown hair peeking out from under his baseball hat.
He catches her looking at him and smirks.
After noticing that she is walking towards him, his eyes wander over her body aimlessly. For some reason, he can’t stop thinking to himself, “What I wouldn’t do for that woman.” Then he tells himself, “Of course, any man would because she is beautiful.”
As he stares at her, he sees that she is wearing a long flowery sun dress with a fitted jean jacket. There is a hint of cleavage peeking out of the top of her dress, and it immediately makes him want to run his hands over her curves. When he looks up, he admires her long, dark blonde hair, full of curls.
Instantly, he wants to kiss her from head to toe and run his fingers through her ringlets. Finding his thoughts drifting to the way her breasts press together, he swallows hard before thinking, “Oh, how he could make love to her forever.”
“Wow, where did that come from?” He whispers under his breath when she arrives.
When she finally takes a seat across from him, she looks a little uncomfortable as she states quickly, “I was hoping you would accept my friend request. I had remembered meeting you at the grocery store a couple months ago and it bothered me because it had always felt like we knew each other for some reason.”
“Well, it helped me to hear your last name.
After all, we both know there weren’t that many kids in our school. Not to mention, you were the only violinist. So, everyone knew of you. I also remembered that you played the clarinet in the band. When I stood in the back of the band room, I always saw you while I played the drums.” He smiles and touches her hand absent-mindedly.
“Oh yeah, I remember that now. I had forgotten that you played the drums. How cool. So, what happened? Why did you leave school and never come back?” She asked carefully, not wanting to upset him in case it was something horrible.
“Well, honestly my parents’ home schooled me for the rest of high school. My mom didn’t like how the school was teaching. She figured that I would get a better education and would be able to help with the bills if I went to school at home and got a job. So, I did.”
“Then, I moved out and after a couple of years I was married and then had three kids. How about you? I want to hear everything about the violinist.” He says as he looks deep into her eyes without hesitation.
“Wait, you said you got married. I don’t see a wedding ring. What happened?”
“Well, I don’t see a ring on your finger either. What happened there?” He sighs and then continues, “My ex-wife divorced me 10 years ago. She told the court that she didn’t know who I was anymore. She couldn’t stand me, so she took my kids and I barely ever got to see them till they were old enough to come visit me themselves.”
“Oh no, I am so sorry Sam. I didn’t mean to bring up bad memories.” Sara grabs his hand and squeezes it to reassure him as she melts inside.
“Don’t worry about it. It was all over with a long time ago. Right now, I just want to know all about you.” He says softly.
From the minute she touched him, he starts to feel something he has only felt for one other before.
Sara takes a minute to compose herself before speaking again.
“Well, I was married for about 20 years, and then I got divorced last year. My bastard of a husband cheated on me for years with his secretary, but I have 4 beautiful children from him and that is all that counts. Matter of fact, I doubt I ever really loved him now that I think about it.”
He looks at her and starts to trace a circle on her hand absent-mindedly before saying softly, “I really did love my wife. She was my everything, right up to the day she gave me the divorce papers.
From then on, she was dead to me.
All I could think of was my kids after that and it has been that way ever since.”
“I am so sorry Sam. What happened to your kids?” She starts to feel tears well up in her eyes because she feels something strong for this man who she has not seen since she was a mere child.
“Well, Kim is 23, Lisa 20, and John 18. He moved out of his mom’s about 6 months ago, just as soon as he could. I am proud of them all, even though none of them have given me a grandchild yet.” He says as he winks at me with a devilish grin.
“Hey now, stop that! I don’t want to be called a grandma anytime soon. We are too young.” Sara laughs and feels strangely at ease in his company for someone she just met again after so many years.
They talk for several hours and then she realizes what time it is. As she looks outside, the darkness envelopes her for a moment. Then she turns her head and notices that he’s staring at her again. With his eyes mentally undressing her, he smiles and then takes her hands.
Before she can say anything, he leans forward and then cups her chin. Kissing her on the lips, he gazes into her eyes intensely. It’s a very sweet, soft kiss at first, but then he pulls her closer to him and she feels the need within him. As his tongue penetrates her slightly pierced lips, she sighs into his mouth and melts into him.
After breaking the kiss, a minute later he sits back while clearing his throat. He stares at her for a moment before asking, “Do you want to get out of here?”
