Chapter 51. Prove Yourself Worthy

A few weeks have passed since Elijah's fourth birthday and Penelope and Lucas's third anniversary. After the night that happened to the two of them, Penelope still felt ashamed of what she had done that night.

But Lucas proves himself to be the man who always respects her. After that night, he said nothing about what happened to them. Penelope realizes how much Lucas loves her and that he is willing to wait for the right moment.

Dylan and Penelope have also changed how they treat each other as if they'd been trying to avoid it for the past few days. It was as if they had done something wrong to each other and were embarrassed about it.

Penelope stays away from Dylan because she still remembers him kissing someone else. Penelope feels disgusted, sad, and confused every time she sees Dylan, as if he didn't know how she would feel.
