Chapter 48. Happy Birthday?

September twelve was the day Dylan and Penelope had been waiting for their son's birthday.

Everyone was busy arranging the birthday party for Dylan and Penelope's son. One by one, Elijah's guests arrive. They were all kids holding gifts for Elijah. A smiling Penelope greeted the mothers with the children invited to this party.

"Thank you for coming," Penelope said.

Penelope waited for Dylan to arrive at the venue, but still nothing. Penelope was worried that Dylan might not come for their son's birthday. It's been half an hour since his guests arrived, and Dylan is still gone.
