Chapter 113

He knocks twice on Mia's door. He hears a shuffling of feet and soon the door opens wide to reveal Mia in sweatpants and a t-shirt. Her hair is tied up in a messy bun. She looks beautiful regardless. 

"Hi." He blurts. There are no words on his mouth. She ushers him in. They both stand and stare for a while, both pondering on what to say to the other. The atmosphere is tense and crackling.

 "I love you." Jacob says the first and Mia says the second at the same time. They both laugh and Jacob stops mid laughter. 

"You said what?" He asks, wondering if he actually heard what she had just said. She gulps anxiously.

 "You should go first." She says, pointing at him with her hand. He nods with a confused look on his face.
