Chapter 24. Conflicted Feelings

This morning, as I woke up, I immediately sensed that something was wrong. I looked around and realized that I wasn't in my own room. It hit me that this was my new home, a result of getting married yesterday, and tears filled my eyes as the memories of last night came flooding back.

I saw Cassian still asleep on the bed, and I couldn't understand how I ended up there. I had fallen asleep on the hard floor, but somehow ended up on the bed. I hoped Cassian wouldn't be angry if he found out.
