I sat down to eat breakfast, thinking about what happened last night. I had stayed in Cassian's room and when I woke up, he was still sleeping on my lap. I quietly left the room so I wouldn't wake him up. Before I left, I made sure to put some pain relievers and water near him because I knew he would have a hangover from drinking too much. My dad taught me this lesson from his own experiences. He would come home drunk and ask for pain relievers the next morning because his head would hurt.
