Joan POV

“Seriously? This doesn’t make any sense,” a man said. I pressed my lips together, hesitating in front of Aaron’s study.

Whoever it was sounded pissed.

“Unfortunately for you, this is my company to run, and I’ll do what I think is best for my employees,” Aaron said.

I looked down at myself. I was in lingerie. One I’d bought a few days ago and hadn’t worn yet. I thought I’d spice things up since we were in Spain.

But it felt like a bad idea now. Aaron had a meeting.

“Okay, boss. We understand where you’re coming from, but some of us are better off alone,” another voice came. I opened the door slightly and peeked in.
