“So we get higher stocks if we give VIP treatment to certain clients,” one of the shareholders said through a Zoom meeting.

Adrian leaned back into his seat, his expression thoughtful.

The women had stepped out—Joan probably dragging Astrid into some wedding planning again.

“We already have VIP. What more are you talking about?” Adrian asked, and I pressed my lips together.

“Upgrade the VIP package. The only assurance our VIP clients have is a bodyguard and cybersecurity. Depending on the kind of fee they pay, they should be getting something more.”

I straightened up in my seat.

“And your suggestion is?” I butted in, and the white-haired man pursed his lips.

“We expand the protection circle… to maybe family? Look, it doesn’t have to be that serious, but we just have someone looking out for the family members too.”

Adrian nodded, glancing at me.

“He has a point there,” he stated, and I gave a small nod.
