Chapter 10. Not Tonight, Tey

Jeremy’s POV

“We were supposed to meet but she left. Is she not back home yet?” Carol said over the phone.

“Okay thanks.” I ended the call with my heart thudding hard in my chest. It was past eleven PM, and Teyana wasn’t back from wherever she went.

If she wasn’t with Carol, where the hell was she? I didn’t have her contact or I would have been forced out of my mind to call her.

Our parents weren’t around tonight again, said something about attending an auction off town.

I wasn’t supposed to be here as well. But somehow, I found myself staying back because of a particular ‘hot as fuck’ nerd who happened to my stepsister.

It was almost surreal that I could be this restless over someone.

That night wouldn’t leave my head. I meant it when I told her I wasn’t meant to taste her, but it felt impossible not to after… all that happened.

I was wrecked… maybe in a good way too.
