Chapter 5. Gift from Andrew
"Mrs. Krystal," Anna called out suddenly. I hadn't even entered the corridor yet, but I could already hear her voice coming from another direction. As I turned, the girl appeared out of breath.
"Where have you been?"
It seems like Anna needed a lot of lungsful of air to speak. Somewhat flustered, she finally managed to voice what made me want to curse.
"Downstairs, there are so many bouquets of flowers. And it feels... Anna knows who they're from. Earlier, Anna was called because there were too many, so she had to ask for help—"
"Tell the building security to dispose of them," I said firmly, without even looking at her. This time, I had to truly confront her. Ignoring her didn't mean she would stop misbehaving. How audacious!
Without realizing it, I slammed the door shut, leaving Anna startled by my actions. Somewhat harshly, I placed my carried bag down. At this point, my mood was exceptionally far from being happy.
