Chapter 12. Aftermath

Eryn’s POV

The silence between Zach and me on the ride to school is deafening. He is just as mad as Dad was when he found out I spent the night with Kyle.

He pulls into the parking lot, and when he parks, I try to get out of the car instantly. But Zach reaches across me and slams the door shut. I roll my eyes and turn to him. I guess it is his turn to scold me.

“I have already had enough from Dad this morning,” I tell him. “I don’t need to hear it from you too.”

“You are going to hear it,” he hisses at me. “How could you be so fucking stupid?”
