Chapter 9. Rescue

Kyle’s POV

My jaw is on the ground as I watch Eryn’s ass bounce down to the lake in that red and white polka dot bikini. I knew she had a great body, but I didn’t know it was that great. I can’t remember the last time I saw her in a swimsuit. It has obviously been too long.

Zach is pushing past me to get to her. His face is red, and his eyebrows are narrowed. This is going to end poorly for Eryn. I wouldn’t be surprised if he drags her out of here kicking and screaming.

I shake Jesse off my arm and jog after Zach. I catch up to him and fall into step. “Why not let her have a little fun?” I ask innocently. “She works hard. She has earned it.”

“She can’t fucking swim, Asshole,” Zach spits at me.

“Fuck,” I groan, and my eyes dart to the lake.

I don’t see Eryn. I see Zach’s eyes scanning the lake, too. He begins to pull off his shirt and runs toward the lake. I look back to the lake, and that’s when I see it. A red bikini top is floating on top
