Chapter 36

Frantic Call

Viren’s fists were clenched so tightly that his knuckles were white, he was ready to punch someone. The couple approached Viren.

“Hey Viren, hope you are fine.” With a smirk, the lady asked Viren.

Viren’s face holds no emotions, his eyes were depicting sadness, and anger at the same time. Priya quickly approached her husband and kept a hand on his shoulder in assurance.

“This must be your wife. She is not as classy as I thought.”

Priya felt hurt that her husband didn’t defend her but quickly composed herself. Seeing her husband’s situation, she quickly started searching for her father-in-law and Viraj. Out of nowhere Viraj came and grabbed Viren’s arm gesturing for Priya to follow. He took them to a room and closed the door.

“Viren, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that she was Ankita’s best friend. I have never met her since that day. Believe me.”
