There's no way my mate could live in this packhouse while the Luna was present.

After observing Marelva and Becca since we left Park Slope, I concluded that neither made any effort to be polite to each other. Initially, Becca ignored Marelva's provocations but retaliated strongly when my mate confronted her publicly. Such behavior was unbecoming of a Luna, who should foster peace and trust among those around her.

In contrast, Becca made a sincere effort to befriend Elise, the Delta female. That came as no surprise, Elise was genuinely kind and very easygoing. Unlike Marelva, she was more approachable and less inclined towards conflicts. Nevertheless, Becca needed to maintain her position as the Alpha's Luna by at least being polite to my mate.
