We were now sitting in the dining room. Lunch was ready to be served at any time.
Beta Arthus had left.
A strange fellow if you asked me. He clearly belonged to a stable pack, was a dominant personality, and from the conversations I had with him, it appeared that he was very intelligent. This intelligence amazed me, considering he’d lost his way to his destination.
That didn’t add up, but all the evidence was there. The mechanic reported his GPS was indeed dysfunctional, and there was also an envelope with the Alpha decal that read 'top secret' in the backseat of his car.
I also looked in the archives. According to the documentation, his pack, Shadow Moon, never had any kind of argument of confrontation with Paxton.
