Cara's POV

"You look beautiful," he whispered the moment I got to him, and I smiled wide.

He stared at my dress again, as if memorizing it, his eyes hungry.

"What?"

"I'm just studying how easy it would be to take off," he said right there without any hint of shame, and I was all red again.

Teo was at his side, pretending not to hear what we were saying, but of course he was smirking.

Rollins took my hands, which had become sweaty and clammy, and led me out of the pack. That's when I noticed something I didn't pick out fast enough: he was hot, like his body held some kind of heat.
