Chapter 11. Knelt
I glanced at Roy, who was yawning in front of me. We were watching TV because we had nothing else to do. He had finished all the household chores and kept interfering with my work, essentially taking over everything I was supposed to do, so I eventually just sat down. He even had the nerve to smile about it!
Instead of avoiding his gaze and turning away when he looked at me, I confronted him with a smile when he gave me a sly look. I hope he's okay. He looked exhausted, even though he didn't do much, and it wasn't that strenuous! Maybe he was just used to not doing anything except sitting around.
I tried to refocus on what I was watching when I noticed him stretching and getting up. He moved closer to me, and I playfully raised both my crossed hands, raising my right eyebrow while looking at him.
