Chapter 19. Moon

"What are you doing?" he asked from behind me.

I was outside now, sweeping the yard, and I hadn't stopped talking to myself since earlier. I promised myself to avoid such situation, but what just happened? And now he was here again!

When I felt his presence behind me, I didn't bother moving away, knowing he wouldn't stop following me.

"Do you want to go out?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes and continued with what I was doing. He was talking about going on another shopping trip, which would only drain my wallet, especially since I would be the one spending. I'd rather save my money than spend it on unnecessary things that I could easily do at home.

"It's on me," he said as if that was the magic word that would get me to agree, and he smiled when I glanced at him.
