Chapter 6. Sea

I took a quick shower and combed my hair. I applied a little powder on my face and bit my lower lip to reduce the paleness of it. 

Looking at the door, I heard a knock and saw Roy looking at me from head to toe when I opened it. 

"Do you have nothing else to wear?" he asked. 

"You didn't tell me where we're going, so this is what I put on," I said. 

"Not bad. Ready?" he asked after examining me from head to toe once again. 

I wasn't sure if I should be offended or not. Also, I didn't have any other clothes because everything I had was for home. I knew I wouldn't be going anywhere, so I dressed casually. Good thing I still had this to wear! 

"Where are we going?" I asked again. I was worried about the house. That's why I was left behind, to watch over it. Yet here I was, going with him, not knowing what he was up to in life. 

He just shrugged and remained silent as he started driving. It was quite a distance
