Chapter 8. Enough
"Roy..." I was truly disappointed.
"This is the only way I see to make my feelings for you go away. This is it, Ina. So if you'll just let me and trust me, things can go back to normal. I can get back to loving Anne, which I still do," he explained to me as if I were a kindergarten student who needed things spelled out for her.
I was starting to feel sad, wondering why he had such an attitude. Why did he have to be like this? I mean, there was no such thing as a perfect person, but out of all the attitudes he could have, why this one? I was saddened to think that Auntie Anne ended up with someone like him. She didn't deserve someone like him. My admiration of him was vanishing too fast. He was nothing like the brave Roy I admired before.
