Chapter 29
We gathered around the table for meals at Juan’s place. I like that Amber gives us space by pretending to be on the go. Daisy's persistent whining ceased once she saw that Amber was physically well and with us.
Together, we created an odd sense of happiness and fulfillment, the likes of which I had never experienced before. Even though I always enjoyed being around Hade and Juan, I discovered that my life was missing something until I met Amber.
She kissed Hade, and I don't mind that it wasn't me; she's getting closer to me and him, and that's all that matters. We must wait for the right moment to kiss, but I just can't wait. Through my eyes, Daisy kept staring at Amber like a wolf in love. Unexpectedly, she felt an overwhelming hunger for Amber. It's not shameful to want your partner, but when Daisy expressed her desires, my face flushed, and I ignored her.
"Locker got your tickets booked; you'll leave in four hours," Juan told Amber and Hade.
