Benedict was wasting away at a club, lost deep in his thoughts. Something weird has happened to Benedict these past few days. Hadley had constantly been haunting his mind since that day they went to his father’s birthday party.
Not a night went by that Benedict didn’t think of her every time he closed his eyes. It got worse to the point where he had trouble sleeping. And sometimes, he’d invent superficial reasons to have an excuse to knock on Hadley’s room.
Benedict’s everyday life was also affected. Two times a day became an essential part of his daily routine. He’d wait for Hadley in the kitchen in the morning to catch breakfast with her. Much was the same for him during late dinner when Hadley usually returned home from work.
