Chapter 133. The Ceremony

Ryder POV

Finally, the day of the coronation has arrived. Unlike the other day I was fucking excited today. I was first to get up again and dressed up before stepping outside.

I made sure to look my best. And today, I didn’t feel nervous or worked up. I felt this sense of peace, fucking relaxed. I was still putting on the facade that I still can’t recover anything.

I stepped outside and soon Logan came out to join me on the bar. “Congrats, man,” he patted my back, I smiled and poured myself and him a glass of wine.

We both clicked glasses with a knowing smile before sipping the drink. We were seated, facing the door.

After a few minutes, it opened and William walked inside. On seeing him, my facial expression changed. Logan indirectly nudged me to control myself.

And I did.

“Hey man, you are drinking?” He has a puzzled look on. “Come on, his king Xandros’ burial today. We need to pay the old man his last respect today,”
