Chapter 31. I Wasn’t Welcome Here

Nina POV

I was staring blankly at the environment as we neared the castle.

I gulped. Guards and maids lined up by the sides to welcome their Prince in front of the massive building, which I assumed would be the castle.

My palms were starting to get sweaty. Ryder noticed and removed his hand, sneaking it around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

The whole place was filled with Lycans. But there was an aura coming from the far end that was making me feel intimidated… It wasn’t from one person. It was strong, and I was sure everyone there also felt the sudden shift in the air.

We continued walking in the middle. I could feel heated looks from each side as I walked past them. Some had curious glances… Some were shocked, surprised, while some had a nasty look on their faces. But none dared to utter a word. Ryder’s aura was also stretched out.

Believe me, I honestly felt suffocating.
