Chapter 33. That’s My Business
Ryder POV
I could feel my breathing getting heavier before I bunched my hands into furious fists. A scowl darkened my face.
I stormed out of my father’s office, fury burning in my veins. How could he? I knew it would be him; nobody else. He had been behaving strangely recently.
I had trusted him with my life.
Finding my mate, he was supposed to be a good friend and support me, not betray me.
Now, my parents had pinned Nina as the reason behind the rogues’ attack, having more reasons to ridicule her.
As I rushed down the hallway, I spotted Logan striding in my direction. Perfect timing. I quickened my pace, my fists clenched at my sides. Without wasting any time, I landed a solid punch on his face.
“You fucking snitch!” I yelled in his face. My eyes drew in disappointment.
Logan’s eyes widened in shock as he unexpectedly stumbled backward, clutching his bleeding lips. His confused gaze lifted to stare back at me.
