Chapter 23
“We are not pharmacists and we do not have the authority to dispense your medicines, Ma’am. We are interns,” Raven calmly said and quickly let go of the woman’s hand.
“A customer is always right! Attend to us! What if my child is already in critical condition?” The woman shouted at Raven.
“That is correct, Ma’am. But just so you know, a disrespectful and entitled customer is never right.” Raven turned away from her and guided me into the stock room. Karl happened to be walking out and stopped when he saw me crying, “What happened?”
“Problematic customer,” Raven replied with irritation.
Karl immediately stepped out, and Jessie noticed me in the stock room, with Raven wiping away my tears using his black and white checkered handkerchief. She hurriedly approached, “Hey, why are you crying?!”
