Sylvester’s POV

As the new alpha of the rogue pack, I had been invited to a meeting by Philip, my stepbrother, who was now the new alpha king of the Blood Moon Pack after the demise of his father, Cody. Philip suggested that we reconcile as brothers and put our differences behind us and work together. Initially, I declined his proposal, but he was persistent, and I could not refuse him as he is the only person in the world I consider to be my closest family.

I stood at the edge of the clearing where we had agreed to meet, watching as Philip and his entourage made their way toward me and my pack. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. “He has grown much older and seems to be different from when last I saw him,” I wondered.
