Chapter 71. A Soothing Massage

Emma’s POV

Sameness of the cold, hard ground beneath me, I stretched, trying to shake off the stiffness. I winced as my muscles protested the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.

Hunter noticed my discomfort and knelt beside me “Hey, do you want a massage?” he asked, his eyes filled with concern.

My face lit up with gratitude. “That would be wonderful, thank you.”

Hunter’s skilled hands began to work out the knots in my muscles, his touch gentle yet firm. I closed my eyes, letting out a sigh of relief as his fingers eased the tension in my neck and shoulders.

Bennett and Parker watch, smiling, as Hunter works his magic. If only they knew how much I love massages and how relaxed I become, if only for a moment.
