Emma’s POV
As the kiss deepened, my world narrowed into the sensation of our bodies pressed against me, the heat rising between us like a wildfire. I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be—surrounded by the people I loved, who loved me in return.
As we broke apart for air, my mind suddenly snapped back to the conversation with the Alpha. I remembered his cryptic words. He knew everything about my parents—things that I was unaware of—and I needed to know what that meant and why I had no record in the pack.
My eyes narrowed, determination igniting within me. “Guys, I need to talk to Ryker,” I said, my voice firm.
