Parker’s POV
As Emma and I approached the old house, we noticed a sense of neglect and abandonment. The once-familiar structure now stood worn and rusty, its windows like empty eyes staring back. Emma’s heart races as she pushes open the creaky door, a wave of painful memories washing over her.
Stepping inside, Emma’s eyes scan the dimly lit interior, her mind flooded with flashbacks of her childhood. I could tell that she remembered laughter, tears, and screams echoing through these very halls. The air thickened with the weight of her past, making it difficult to breathe.
