Chapter 30
Faith’s POV
I wanted to shoot her. But instead of anger, I felt a strange longing. “You’re ugly!”
She glared at me when I said that, and I laughed because she snorted.
“Just kidding! You’re so beautiful. You look like Kristen Stewart.”
“Of course!” she replied before peeling open the santol again.
“Miss Faith?” I heard the nurse call my name.
I raised my hand and followed her. Janice was left outside because the guard didn’t allow companions inside the clinic. When I entered the room, the smell of alcohol immediately hit me. Weirdly, I thought I wanted to buy that brand just to have it too.
“Good morning, Doc. Do you have the result of my pregnancy test?”
She smiled at me, then read the result on a white sheet of paper. “Congratulations, Miss Faith. You’re three weeks pregnant,” the doctor said with a smile as she looked at me.
