Chapter 38
Third-Person POV
“Mommy!” Faith happily looked at her son Sean, who had just gotten off the school bus. He was watering the plants in the garden of the mansion where they lived with Martin and his father, Sergio.
“Hi, baby. How was your day at school?” she asked as she walked closer. “Hmm… Sean, you’re all sweaty!” Faith teased, covering her nose a little.
Sean snorted but smiled again. “It’s fine. I’ll just change my clothes later. What’s the snack?” he asked excitedly. Faith pretended to think, then leaned in and whispered to him.
Sean’s eyes widened in delight and he ran into the house eagerly. Faith laughed and followed after her playful child. She carefully stepped on the stone path in the garden while holding her eight-month belly.
“Mommy! Look, Mommy Celine gave me a toy. It’s so nice!” Sean ran back to Faith as she reached the doorway.
“Wow! My baby’s new toy is beautiful.” She smiled. “Now go change your clothes, and then we’ll eat
